A short stroll from Blackheath Village, just moments from the vibrant and creative streets of Lewisham, and surrounded by the urban edge of South London’s most dynamic neighbourhoods, Alms Gate is a unique collection of homes that is both steeped in history and crafted for modernity.

F3 worked with investor and developer Vfund on the interior design of 32 almshouses within the Grade II listed Alms Gate estate, originally built in 1826 by Merchant Taylors' Company. Our approach was to sensitively reimagine these urban cottages for modern living while carefully preserving original Victorian details.
