Concept design for a bespoke luxury home in the Bahamas. The brief entailed creating a commanding street presence and contribution to a luxurious residential enclave.
The development of the home’s massing endeavoured to optimise the plot through dispersion and a relaxed geometry to denote different zones across the landscape. The home’s architecture promotes the landscape further with seamless integration of interior and exterior relationships. The entrance to the home creates a grand gesture and enticing invitation into the home, while the internal accommodation focuses on private family spaces with defined entertainment suites.
The materiality utilises a grounded stone base with a contrasting light wrap across the upper floors. The private bedroom suites were defined by an infill striated timber cladding, providing privacy and a warm finish.
